DESK UPDATE

Hey all! So update on the desk project: All funds received on our end, now we are just waiting on the community contribution in order to start building! I met with the community representative in charge of finding funds and she says we are half way there. So Director Daniel and I are going to start fundraising in the community until we reach their goal. I would give the money myself but Peace Corps really wants the community to take a part in it to make them appreciate it more and hopefully make the project more sustainable. So as soon as we have collected the remaining 250,000 CFA ($500 USD), I will post an update! THANKS AGAIN TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED!
